SBS May Progressive Challenge

This month's Simply B Stamps Progressive Challenge is all about school using the beautiful freebie- Bookworm Rio with sentiments from the Emos Collection.

Since my daughter already finished college, I made a notecard for my niece instead, along with a marker pack set. I'm sure she would really love this card and the gift.
A closer look at the notecard:
The designer papers I used were from a stash I collected a few years ago not sure if they're still available today. These are "A Year in Review" by Paper Reflection and "Retro Prints" by DCWV respectively.

The letters for the "NIECE" word is a freebie from Our Heritage Combo by My Memories.

Wedding Card

A few months to the wedding season and here I am making a wedding card hoping I could give it to a happy couple soon, a daughter of a friend maybe? The Heart Tangle image for this month's Cre8tive Hands Progressive Challenge is perfect for such an occasion.
I want it as simple as I can save for a strip of ribbon, some tiny pearl beads and an elegant background. The paper is from Wicked Princess and can still be downloaded here. The font for the sentiment you can find here.

For the inside of the card, I used the same background only I used a different font which is almost similar to the one at the front of the card. The font can be downloaded here.

Easter Tri-Fold Card

It's Sassy Studio Design April FB Progressive Challenge time! For this month another Sassy Studio Design's lovely image is given as freebie - Easter Bunny Honey.
I thought of making a tri-fold card for my project.
Do you think it's a lovely idea of Bunny Honey hopping until she catches the cute Bunny with the eggs? I drew some broken lines for the hopping trail. The happy bunny is a freebie from Cuddly Buddly. I glued some white flocking powder on the tail for a more fluffy look.
Here's the brand of the flocking powder I used:
The watercolor background (love watercolors!) using only 40% opacity is a previous freebie from Creative Market. The flowers I used were also previous daily freebies from Miss Kate. By subscribing to newsletter on both websites will give you links to great freebies. Here are links for the different flowers I used: Wildflowers, Tulips and Spring Tulips.
The alpha is a freebie from Miggins Does Scrapville and you can still download it here.

Hugs,

While some of us celebrates St. Patrick's Day, most of us need some good wishes of good luck too. For this month's Sassy Studio Progressive Challenge, another gorgeous image-Lady Clover gave me some inspiration  to make a Good Luck card.
So here she is:

A close-up version of Lady Clover:

The clover wreath is made with paper-punched clovers and decorated with green gems in the middle of some of the blooms.

The inside of the card is a blank brick wall with cream paint splatter so I can do my own handwriting messages on the walls. Let's just hope I won't be charged with vandalism. lol.

Sassy Studio Design DTBST # 322

It's Dare to Be Sassy Thursday again and the challenge is - Your Choice.
So for this fun challenge, I'm using Pin-up Photographer Portrait image and I made a card where you could insert a photo inside. With all this hype on selfies and taking photos with just your cellphone, this project would surely be great to give to your special someone, best friend and even your favorite relative.
So here it is:
I made a photo frame with plastic window where you can insert a photo of your choice. The frame is adhered with double sided foam tape on all 3 sides except the top part where the photo will be inserted.

I inserted a photo of my bff cousin and surprise her with this card on her birthday this March.
